Dr. Peter likes:

Dr. Peter Chan, B.Sc., OD.

Dr. Peter Chan received both his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, where he graduated in 2010. 

​

His clinical training has included treating patients at the Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas where he focused on ocular disease. 

​

He has participated in various pediatric vision screenings, geriatric home visits, as well as specialty contact lens clinics. He also spent time managing post-operative LASIK and PRK surgery patients.

 

More recently, he has traveled with the Onesight organization to provide eye exams for global optometry clinics and was also involved with the athlete's health clinic at the 2015 Pan-Am Games.

 

Dr. Chan is able to provide exams in English, French, Cantonese, and Spanish.

Dr. Katherine likes:

Dr. Katherine Vuong, B.Sc., OD.

Dr. Katherine Vuong received both her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, where she graduated in 2010.

​

Her training included an ocular disease externship at the Scarborough Eye Associates ophthalmology clinic.

 

She also completed a placement at the TLC laser surgery clinic in Toronto, where she trained in the management of patients undergoing laser vision correction. In 2016, she underwent laser surgery herself.

 

During her studies, Dr. Vuong had the privilege of travelling to countries such as Thailand, Mexico and El Salvador to perform examinations in rural areas with limited access to vision care.

​

Dr. Vuong is able to provide exams in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish.
